Communications Chair
Sarah Mills, Graphic Designer
Designsensory
Sarah worked for agencies in Ohio and Boston before coming to Knoxville five years ago and burnishing her reputation as an innovative designer and fresh thinker.
Almost immediately upon hitting K-Town, Sarah became involved with AAF-Knoxville and other causes within the community. She has served as Communications Chair and now Web Director, and in 2008-9 took on the tremendous responsibility of chairing the ADDY® Awards, the region’s largest advertising awards program.
A natural iconoclast and smart mouth, she helps keep the Ad Fed board honest without things degenerating into fistfights. She is passionate about all things Knoxville from growing the involvement of the advertising community, promoting start-up companies, and working with the District in Bearden since its creation.
Her enthusiasm is inspirational and hard work admirable. But she can’t bowl worth a plug nickel.
