It’s that time of year again to nominate your favorite behind-the-scenes people in the advertising, communications, and marketing industry for the 2017 Big Wig Awards. Scores of these people work hard to help produce exceptional advertising and communications, so AAF-Knoxville creates this award show to recognize those who aren’t recognized by other awards programs.
AAF-Knoxville asks people within the East Tennessee communications community to submit nominations for the “unsung heroes” of advertising and marketing with nominations ending Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Only one vote/nomination per person and/or e-mail address. AAF board of directors and Big Wig chairman may not be nominated for an award so please don’t waste your nomination on: Christopher Casteel, Sarah Ward, Michael Torano, David Wells, Micah Brookshear, Rachel Weaver, Adam Ponzurick, Patrick Wolf, CJ Ogle, Colby McLemore, and/or Sarah Loebner.
The top three nominees with the most votes will then be revealed, and final voting (on this same page) starts on Wednesday, Oct. 4 and ends on Friday, Oct. 13. Every year, in a least one or two of the 23 categories there are winners determined by less than ten votes, so help round up your nominees’ votes! The winners will be recognized at the awards gala on Wednesday Oct. 25th starting at 6:30pm sharp at the Emporium Center – Arts & Culture Alliance located at 100 S Gay Street, Knoxville, TN so mark it down on your calendar.
