The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is the nation’s oldest national advertising trade association and represents all facets of the advertising industry. As the “Unifying Voice for Advertising,” our mission is to look for ways to positively promote our profession, especially to students who may consider advertising and related fields as a career.
As such, the Knoxville Chapter of the American Advertising Federation has established a scholarship program open to students who wish to pursue any course of study related to advertising. These include graphic design, writing, marketing, communications, media, and others. The AAF Sam Littleton Scholarship Program will award scholarships each year. Students at schools in and around Knoxville are eligible.
The Sam Littleton Scholarship is named in the honor of Sam Littleton, a long-time Knoxville media professional. It is open to students studying any field that may relate to the advertising industry—art, photography, communications, graphic design, or others.
The total amount awarded is $1,500 for this year for two students selected from submissions. First place will receive $1,000 and second place will receive $500. Please complete the form below to be considered for this scholarship. Submissions will be accepted until January 31st, 2022.
Selected candidates will be invited to addend the 2022 Addy Awards (date and time T.B.D.) where they will be presented with their award.
